By using high-purity EVOH co-extruded films or specialty oxide coatings such as AlOx/SiOx, we can reduce oxygen transmission rate (OTR) and water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) to extremely low levels (<1), meeting the long shelf-life requirements of highly barrier-sensitive foods such as coffee and nuts, with performance nearly equivalent to conventional foil packaging.

Is no-aluminum packaging fully recyclable?

Yes, it is fully recyclable. Conventional aluminum-plastic laminates are difficult to delaminate and therefore often end up in landfill. Our no-aluminum packaging is built on a polypropylene (PP) material family, with the EVOH barrier layer strictly controlled to within the 5% limit allowed by international recycling standards, so it can enter existing plastic recycling systems directly.

Is no-aluminum packaging suitable for retort applications?

We offer retort-grade no-aluminum structures developed specifically for high-temperature processing. They can withstand steam retort sterilization up to 121°C without delamination or shrink wrinkling, making them ideal for the commercial aseptic production of prepared meals, wet pet food, and sauce products.
